Hi, Jess here.
I have always loved weddings and the planning that goes along with them. At a young age I would play wedding by dressing up and putting a white blouse on my head to look like a veil – I even hosted a wedding for two of my tropical fish.
I come from a long line of ladies who love to organize and host parties. I have that same passion. When anyone mentions the idea of having a party or a get-together, I am already hatching a plan and making it happen. What can I say? I’ve learned from the best!
My own wedding day is a big part of why I am so passionate about weddings. I remember it as being the best day of my life. I felt so empowered that day as I evolved from being a single woman to making those important promises to my best friend and partner in life as we became husband and wife. I enjoyed every moment and nothing could get me down. I call it that “best day ever” feeling.
I think every couple deserves to have that “best day ever” feeling on their special day.
I believe marriage should be celebrated. No matter how big or small the wedding – lavish or minimalist, each wedding should be beautiful and evoke that type of feeling of celebrating two people in love.
